The Europe-Korea Marine and Ocean Engineers Association (EKMOA) is a voluntary association that builds network among members and promote information sharing. EKMOA strengthens fellowship with the Korean scientific and technological fields. In addition, the Association contributes to development of the shipbuilding, ocean and marine sectors.

 

The Association is to push forward the activities for exchanging and extending information and expertise; cooperation with industries, universities, research institutes, funding agencies and governments across Korea, Europe, and UK; promoting friendship, enhancing fellowship among members and invigorating the Association.

 

Purposes

• Build network among members and promote information sharing.

• Strengthen fellowship with the Korean scientific and technological field.

• Contribute to scientific and technological development of the shipbuilding, ocean and marine sectors.

 

Activities

The Association is to push forward the following activities:

• Activities for exchanging and extending information and expertise

• Cooperation with Europe-Korea Conference on Science and Technology (EKC) and other Korean scientists and engineers associations in Europe

• Activities for promoting friendship, enhancing fellowship among members and invigorating the Association
